What we collect

Account details (name, email, phone), the codes you scan, optional location at the time of a scan, reports you submit and the devices you sign in from.

Why

To verify products, keep your history, send recall alerts, investigate counterfeits, prevent abuse and process payments.

Sharing

Brands see aggregated scan locations for their own products and the details of reports about their products. If you allow contact on a report, investigators may see your name and contact details. We never sell personal data.

Payments

Payments are processed by Paystack, Flutterwave or Monnify. We store only the last four digits of your card.

Your rights

You can download or delete your data at any time from Account settings or by emailing privacy@validatenow.app.
